About

Welcome to my blog of thoughts and inconsistencies.   I don’t intend for anything here to be terribly structured, much like my thought patterns…

I work in the IT industry for a software house as their global support manager, and as such spend a vast amount of time troubleshooting and documenting IT infrastructure configurations, replicating issues with software and training people (all in-between daily meetings).   Much of my time is spent trawling the interwebz for information that is often convoluted and unrelated, hence I started the technology section of this blog.   I figured that other IT professionals would probably be looking for information on the same issues I have worked on, so I may as well add my convoluted and unrelated posts to the mix, if anything for the sake of professional courtesy…

I spend a fair amount of time commuting on- and riding motorcycles, another passion.   I’m sure that will come out in future posts, and I’m not going to try and explain it here.   If you ride bikes, you’ll understand, if you don’t, you wouldn’t.

As a geek I feel obligated to have a keen interest in all things scientific, geeky and just plain not-normal.   There will be periodic links to these kinds of things on your right.

Enjoy the blog, and if you’ve got this far, all your attention are belong to me…
