About
Welcome to my blog of thoughts and inconsistencies. I don’t intend for anything here to be terribly structured, much like my thought patterns…
I work in the IT industry for a software house as a Business Operations Analyst, and as such spend a vast amount of time troubleshooting IT infrastructure configurations and replicating issues with software. Much of my time is spent trawling the interwebz for information that is often convoluted and unrelated, hence I started the technology section of this blog. I figured that other IT professionals would probably be looking for information on the same issues I have worked on, so I may as well add my convoluted and unrelated posts to the mix, if anything for the sake of professional courtesy…
I currently also provide after hours PC support on a freelance basis, check out the links above for more information regarding that. I find that this keeps me fresh on the hardware side of IT and it gives me great pleasure in helping someone that is at the end of their tether with a non-working PC.
I spend a fair amount of time commuting on- and riding motorcycles, another passion. I’m sure that will come out in future posts, and I’m not going to try and explain it here. If you ride bikes, you’ll understand, if you don’t, you wouldn’t.
As a geek I feel obligated to have a keen interest in all things scientific, geeky and just plain not-normal. There will be periodic links to these kinds of things on your right.
